Privacy and cookies
Animal Alert (animax.pro) tracks stock with expiry dates for veterinary clinics and pet shops. In short, here is what data we keep, why, and which cookies we use.
What data we keep
- Your account: first and last name, email, phone, company and tax ID. The password is stored only as a cryptographic hash and cannot be read by anyone.
- Company data: the purchase invoices you upload and the stock calculated from them.
- Payments: amount, period and status. Card details stay with Netopia and never reach us.
- Your ANAF token, if you add it: stored encrypted.
- Phone numbers for alerts: we use them only to send the text messages, through Twilio.
We use it to make the app work (stock, alerts, subscription) and, only with your consent, to understand how it is used.

The iPhone and Android app
- Your session is stored encrypted on the phone (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android) and expires after 60 days without use. A new password signs out every phone.
- Notifications about expiring products are sent through the Expo Push service, only if you allow them. We keep the phone's notification code while you are signed in on it.
- Usage statistics from the app go through our server to Google Analytics, only with your consent, under the same rules as on the website.
Google Analytics
It starts only after you press “Accept”. We see which pages and features are used, the sign-up and payment steps, the language and the device type. We do not send your name, email or tax ID: your account appears only as an internal number. Ad personalisation and Google Signals are turned off.
Google processes this data on our behalf and may transfer it to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself at any time, from Settings on the website or from Your account in the app. The company's data (stock, invoices) and payments remain, because they belong to the company.
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to us at contact@animax.pro. You can also contact the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
